Face Value

It reminded me of all the times I have wanted someone’s face, or part o it. We tend to forget how unique we all are in our own ways, our crooked smiles, long and pointed noses which gives you that cunning/arongant look and how you wish you could press it down and bring it to a normal size, those straight eyebrows we are hell bent on curving and our beautician is tired of telling us that there is nothing she can do, those bunny teeth which you will do anything to get trimmed, specially that extra one on the side which spoils all your pictures when you smile in large, no matter how much blusher you put on your cheeks but never will give you that jawline like girls in the magazines and if only your face was litter longer and narrower you could carry all kinds of ponytails and buns without having to make a puff so your face doesn’t look like a football.
But isn’t it fascinating to realise that this is exactly how God wanted us to look. In fact he designed every single feature of our body with utmost care and creativity, so much love and imagination, he put into giving you this wonderful gift. It would have been such a task for him to come up so many faces, bodies, each unique and beautiful.
So if this is how God wanted me to look, how can I even want to go against his will..!!
And leta say I want to become ashwarya sushmita or chtrangda or Jennifer etc an he granted me that wish, will it even suit my personality?
I can only look the way I look and only I can look the way I look.
Kyooki mera chehra mujhpe bahut suit karta hai…!!!
